D'Etta and Yael met at a job back in 2019 and knew they had to work together—just somewhere else.

Yael has always been fascinated by the architectural and cultural marks hotels make, and after spending another afternoon talking about it, someone said, "Maybe you should start a podcast."

D'Etta, a great lover of niche history, cocktails, and scandal – otherwise known as the hotel's sweet spot – was in.

We created the Hotel History podcast to fulfill our deep physical need for 100-year-old drama.
